Agnese Ferrante

Research Master Student

My name is Agnese Ferrante, and I am very excited to be doing my internship in the RETPY project because I hold a deep belief in the profound significance of emerging psychedelic research, recognizing its potential to facilitate self-reflection and personal growth. Through this project I hope to gain in-depth knowledge on how to set up a research study, learn to use an MRI machine and interpret its data, communicate with participants, and ultimately gain more knowledge in the field of psychedelic research which I can bring with me in my future career.
My ultimate aspiration as a researcher would be to integrate my interests in altered states of consciousness and spirituality, and apply them to empower the LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities which do not currently have appropriate representation in the research world.
