Melissa conducted her research internship with the “Effect of S-Ketamine on Self and Body Perception in Healthy Adults” project, where she was involved in preparing and piloting the study. Currently, she is continuing her work on this project in the context of her master’s thesis, focusing on collecting and analyzing EEG data. Her main interest lies in understanding the effects of psychedelic substances on perception, and she aims to integrate this with her other research interests such as cognitive functions and overall mental health.
