Development of the Altered States of Self-Consciousness Scale

Study description

This study aims to develop a new scale to assess changes in narrative and embodied self related to altered states of consciousness such as those induced by psychedelics and meditation. The scale is greatly influenced by Milliere (2018).

We are based at the Cognitive Psychology Section at Leiden University. We study Psychedelic, Religious, Spiritual and Mystical experiences by using an interdisciplinary research approach.
